4 Shouldnt we maybe also be more proactive asking ebuilds to make it to project homepage? Ebuilds are small, and gentoo is not the unknown underdog it was some time ago.
5 This might:
6 - ease the load on portage for uncommon ebuilds.
7 - motivate developers to generate/update ebuilds (if they use gentoo
8 themselves)
9 - helps people see that the package runs on gentoo (This might not be
10 obvious to someone not using gentoo and seeing only a .rpm, a .deb
11 and a source tarball ....)
