12 If anything does have lasting value by all means move it to the
13 handbook/docs. Likewise we could have a webpage of archived news for
14 anybody doing an upgrade of a 3-year-old system or something. News is
15 going to be the least of their problems though.

17 A year seems like a reasonable timeframe for retiring old news - that
18 is a year from hitting stable, not ~arch (if applicable to stable).
