i've sucessfully compiled and run |

i have two itches with the portage system: |

- how can i know if any installed package is needed by another? (and by which |

one) sometimes i have an old library, and would like to know why is it there. |

- i usually run 'emerge rsync; emerge -pu world' to see if there are any |

update, but it won't tell me if there's any 'non-tested' update... i'd like |

to add a flag so it would only ignore those specifically flagged out. |

other than that, it's the bestest tool ever on linux administration! |
