Could you elaborate on what you mean by this? When I read it, it |

sounds like you're saying people will copy ebuilds/packages from the |

core/reviewed repositories into their own, just to have them to |

If that's what you mean, then I think many of the comments mentioned |

earlier still apply. I forsee that we'd end up with the type of mess |

that binary distros (used to?) have, where the third-party repos |

contain various copies of potentially out-of-date and out-of-sync core |

packages to satisfy the unique packages they actually want to provide. |
