51 Kent's suggestions are quite valid, and indeed a good starting point for
52 anyone wishing to push their ideas forward (deliberately avoiding no
53 names at this point).

55 I can say that Kent is doing a stirling job supporting the Perl project
56 with an enormous amount of effort in keeping Perl current and valid for
57 the Gentoo distribution, and wouldn't be best placed to add to his
58 already full workload - we are all volunteers at the end of the day ..

61 I regret to say, although it's a well-known problem .. that the Gentoo
62 bike-shed is never ever going to fall down - as the layers of paint
63 applied will grossly outlive the materials it might once have been built
64 from ... Perhaps someone might like to address the problem of the
65 nuclear reactor which will otherwise never ever be functional ... ;)
