[gentoo-dev] questions comments about future features..

Hey folks,
  In the past month or so of using Gentoo, some questions:

Are these items in planning and/or development atm?

[1] Adding longer descriptions to ebuilds or to the package directory 
(siilar to pkg-descr and family)?  Adding it to the ebuild wouldnt make 
much sense since you would end up with alot of dupes of the same 
information when you had multiple ebuilds....so another file? 

[1b] to go with above, a "emerge --info category/name" whcih will just 
display the relevant info?

[2] emerge behavior...to not merge packages overtop of previous installs 
of the same version without a --remerge or similar option?  This would 
just be a nice touch....

[3] emerge GUI?

Just curious......
