6 Just curious, but what about 2.4 kernel users? As I understand it, the
7 2.4 gentoo-sources seems to be the only currently supported 2.4 kernel
8 for x86, so do these drivers even work there? If not, it makes the
9 point moot, but if this is the only way for 2.4-based Gentoo users to
10 use their hardware, it might be a bad idea to remove them just yet.
