6 Most 2004.1 LiveCDs have a 2.6 kernel on board, except when the architecture
7 itself isn't well supported by the 2.6 kernel.

9 For instance, for the x86 LiveCD, the smp kernel is a 2.6 kernel. And you
10 don't need a dual(+) CPU system to use that kernel.
