Hi all,

Being slow on updating config files (/etc/* et al) after emerge -u
world on al of my boxes i often find that I have a HUGE amount of
._cfg* files to deal with. The sad part is that many (most!) of them
I've never changed myself and I have little reason not to go with the
flow and accept a new default config file. So out of the 250 .cfg*
files i have right now on my laptop, I guess 20 or so i really need to
look into before doing any mods.

Q: Why is there no option to run an MD5 on all the installed config
files, and give the user the option to 'accept new defaults, if the
old ones are untouched'? _That_ would be very handy...
