11 This sounds interesting. It definitely would be nice to have proper
12 package manager support for VCS.

14 I don't think that this will somehow "legitimise" live ebuilds. We use
15 policies to prevent inappropriate things from entering the tree, not by
16 preventing tools that might facilitate it.
