I often have problems with sgml documentation when compiling packages, |

some which come to memory right now are pango or gtk+-2. |

In those cases an 'index.sgml', which was supposed to be created during |

documentation compilation, was always missing. I never could find |

how to solve it _correctly_. I have tried to re-build all jad, sgml, doc |
| 7 |
packages which seemed to have something to do with it, I even disabled |
| 8 |
all kind of custom compile options (CFLAGS) but the result was the same. |

I really have zero knowledge of jade and sgml documentation and wonder |

if anyone is suffering from these and also if there is any way to fix |

it. |

Last problem I had is with some kde packages (I've just installed |

3.1-rc1) due to a missing "dtd/kdex.dtd" entity, which I indeed found |

on /usr/kde/3.1/share/apps/ksgmltools2/customization/dtd/kdex.dtd |

How do I make find it? |

BTW, I feel so naive on the topic that any point to some documentaion I |

could read to understand/learn a little bit more all this technology |
