1 Hi all, here's the complete log from the Council Meeting + a short
2 summary.
4 Summary:
5 All council members was present (Andrew Gaffney (agaffney) proxied for
6 Chris Gianello (wolf31o2)).
8 Agenda was:
9 1. Reply-to-list
10 2. SPF
11 3. QA update / plans
12 4. Bugzilla status
14 1. Council decided that there were no need to change mailinglist behaviour
15 regarding reply-to-list. Bryan Østergaard (kloeri) mentioned that a
16 replytolist plugin for thunderbird-2 had just been committed the day
17 before. Bryan will update the handbook to include information on
18 procmail recipes to change reply-to behaviour on an individual basis.
19 Bug 154595 tracks progress of this update.
21 2. Council decided that Infra needs to document use of third party smtp
22 servers and usage of SMTP server. Bug 154594 tracks this
23 issue.
25 3. Bryan Østergaard gave a short update on QA team on behalf of Stephen
26 Bennett (spb). Plans currently include:
27 - Documenting EAPI-0 and PMS (Package Manager Standard)
28 - Doing more automated QA checks.
29 - Implementing GLEP 48 (see
30 - Working out what each QA team member wants to work on.
32 4. Robin Johnson (robbat2) gave a quick status update on bugzilla. The
33 load-balanced mysql is working very well now but there's still some
34 webserver tuning that needs to be done. There's no timeframe as such as
35 there might still be unexpected issues cropping up.
37 Open floor discussion:
38 Torsten Veller asked if there was any news on portage tree signing.
39 Robin Johnson said there was no news as he'd spend all his time working
40 on new bugzilla setup and anonymous cvs.
