I thought this was more the standard definition. The custom-cflags |

thing is there for upstreams which *demand* that we use their CFLAGS, |

and nothing else. Setting USE=custom-cflags there just overrides |

upstream's flags in that case, which means you can expect upstream to |

immediately flag any question/bug/complaint as invalid. |
