| mb you shd take the trouble to read what i wrote & think re it briefly.
mb u shd stop txtng ppl so mch
| these msgs seem to sum up the opposite sides of the debate.
fairly straightforward, i guess...
| & just before he collapses he enters a cmd w an extra space in it.

afaik, if you're actually using a recognized shortand w != w/
cmd is the nt equivalent to command.com, w is a way to figure out what
users are logged into your machine...

You asked someone to *read* what you'd written. Maybe if I didn't need
my Cap'n Crunch Secret Decoder ring to decipher what you actually said,
I'd be more interested in it. PLEASE: this is an english-speaking list,
albeit it's confusing sometimes, please use english in it's entirety. If
nobody is going to be able to understand all your acronyms/shorthand,
there isn't a point to wasting our bandwidth with something that should
probably be proposed to bugzilla in the form of a patch. If you can't
code it yourself, feel free to find someone who *can* and have THEM
submit a patch.

rm -c is a decent idea. too bad most of us that have used rm for more
than a year or so, if we're killing a directory, tend to use rm -rf as
it's programmed in muscle-memory... much like your favorite editor is in
there...

Overall it's a decent idea, if it gets adopted, I'll probably ignore it
just like I ignore -i. I do this really weird thing... it's called
keeping daily backups. Cheers!
