Having an acpi only release would probably benefit many Gentoo users. |

Most wouldn't even need the acpi release as most don't need to use the |

cryto-sources version for instance. It seems it would be a win-win |

situation. The people that require the latest acpi would be able to help |

the ACPI developers hammer it out with ease. |

This brings up another question. I also track the development/beta |

kernel (2.5.x) in ebuilds. Is this something that might be useful? There |
