Well all you'd have to do is state somewhere that you can't support the |

cvs ebuilds. mplayer for example is rapidly developing and the cvs has |

never failed to build for me but they don't do releases very often. |

This is where a cvs ebuild would be great to have. With mplayer it's |

no too great a problem to not have it under portage control as it |

doesn't install too many files and you can always install into your |

own directory in /usr/local but if you do that for too many software |

packages this becomes crappy even with /etc/env.d. |
