The default for PKGDIR is ${PORTDIR}/packages. What if this was changed to |

${PORTDIR}/${CHOST}/${CFLAGS}/packages ? |

If you export this PKDIR with NFS you can have a central pkg database with |

packages optimized for the architectures specified in ${CFLAGS} and even have |

packages for different platforms ( ${CHOST} ). |
