| 1 | There seems to be a problem with the DEL key |
| 2 | in Gentoo Linux 1.0_rc4_pre2. |
| 3 | Pressing the del key either on the key block |
| 4 | above the cursor keys or in the numeric |
| 5 | key pad with num lock off gives a beep and |
| 6 | a ~ (Tilde) instead of erasing the character |
| 7 | under the cursor. Problem seems independent |
| 8 | from the keymap used. (tried us, and de varieties) |
| 9 | Does not happen with suse and kernel 2.2. |
