Unless you setup syslog so its running (if it is just ignore me) then the |

reason is because gentoo currently doesn't use syslogd by default. It |

uses the god aweful multilog (part of daemontools) which will hopefully |

going away soon... (btw, check out syslog-ng if you are looking for a |

syslog replacement ;) |
