The OpenAFS unstable ebuilds have been woefully out of date for the last |

several months, and do not even contain the early versions of the 1.3.x |

server that are needed for kernel 2.6 compatibility. There have been bugs |

filed on this topic and user-created ebuilds are available: why haven't these |
| 7 |
been added into portage for testing by the community? |

The bug reports do not seem to be helping with this matter. Are more package |
| 10 |
maintainers needed before this package can be kept up-to-date, or are the new |
| 11 |
ebuilds being held back intentionally? If someone would be kind enough check |
| 12 |
up on this package, it would be much appreciated, for those of us trying to |
| 13 |
maintain a working network without being burried in manual updates. |
