besides the "I don't like stuff I don't really need", devfs has |

race-conditions. even Gooch has said so on l-k. his comments where |

down the line of saying that he wouldn't run it on a production |

system with many users, because of these race conditions. |

this was 4-5-6 months ago or something like that. I personally run |

devfs in private, but I don't use devfs on any box I admin anywhere |

else. IMVHO it falls into the "nice to have, but not worth the |

potential risk"-category. |
