6 Exactly... I imagine that, with the new GIMPLE stuff in gcc-3.5, it's
7 highly likely that this stuff would be totally pointless inside a couple
8 of years anyway. Theoretically at least, you can implement this at
9 function level and even below, so don't get too hung up on this - this
10 is a brute force "solution," and a neat solution exists.
