hi all,

Starting with bugs filed today, the eval period before someone can become
a new dev is 30 days. There may be exceptions to this, and those will be
looked at on a case by case basis.

Project leads must sign off/approve new devs for their project. This is
sot hat if someone in your project files a new dev bug you are made
aware of it, and need to approve it.

After someone is made a new dev, there is a 30 day probation period in
which the mentor is still responsible for the new dev's actions. At the
end of that probation period, the mentor must sign off on their new dev,
letting recruiters know that the new dev has done well, etc. If the
mentor does not feel that the new dev is doing well, that should be
stated as well..
