Hi, Alex,
I looked at the gentoo.neysx.org, and this chapter looks fine there. The first line in the "Introduction" is broken correctly.
What I don't understand is why the English version displays it correctly, and Russian one is not. Are you saying that the Gentoo having trouble translating the Russian UNICODE characters? Or it XML problem? The latter I seriously doubt, because if the formatting is done correctly, the same way as the English version, then it should display correctly.
Or maybe, since I translated it under Windows Notepad/Wordpad, it couldn't be read correctly under the XML Gentoo translator?

Anyway I am looking at it using the IE 6.0 from WinXP...

If someone have this configuration at work or home, please chack that the SPARC SILO installation part displays correctly in Russian interpretation.

Thank you.

Hi Igor,

it seems not the .xml is a problem. The text can be perfectly formatted,
and still look poor at screen...
Probably, it's a gentoo.org design behavior.

Try http://gentoo.neysx.org , for example -- the look is quite different
(but the file is the same).

Never mind -- the w.g.o design will soon change -- look at
http://wwwredesign.gentoo.org
