[gentoo-genkernel] genkernel 3.4.48 released

I am pleased to announce the release of 3.4.48. This contains a fix for
a regression caused by modprobe improvements after 3.4.45 that blocked
stabilization and I intend to fast track stabilization of it within a
week provided that there are no objections.

This release's main features are improved HPPA support, preliminary
suppport for ZFS on ARM support, generic ZFS support improvements and
miscellaneous improvements.

I plan to make the next release within the next 4 to 6 weeks with
additional improvements. Now that the modprobe issue is behind us, I
would like to explore the possibility of reunification with Sabayon's
"genkernel-next" (where the main issue is systemd compatibility),
improve system hostid integration (which is useful for ZFS) and also
look into integrating multidisk LUKS code that I believe that a member
of the ZFSOnLinux community started developing.
