Yes, I've tried going back to 6.8.0-r1, with NO success either. |

Unfortunately, I have deleted the "patch" that I used before, and it |

appears to have been "updated" since - no longer providing the success I |

previously experienced - if in fact I found the correct patch the second |

time. Compiling STATIC is not really an option because I would like to |

use XF4VNC on :0, which is not possible when statically compiled. The |

other major updates that occurred while I was on vacation where several |

kernel updates r9 to r16, binutils updated to 2.15.0.94-1, gcc updated |

to 3.4.3-branch, glibc updated to the Nov. version of 2.3.4. |
