Apart from waiting for incorporating ssp into c++ compilations 4.x can |
13 |
still be used with the old 3.4.6 behavior. I'm using the following |
14 |
modified specs from solar for months now with success (along with some |
15 |
minor eclass modifications - http://atoth.sote.hu/~atoth/specs). Of course |
16 |
it omits ssp at the same places where 3.4.6 omitted it too. |
17 |
What if the hardened community would move on to 4.x without minispecs, |
18 |
using the well-known 3.4.6 mechanism (as some of us had already did)? |
19 |
There would be still time for transition to novel implementation of ssp |
20 |
for c++, implementing ebuild support for minispecs and all other stuff. |
