that means that you're not using the 'new' toolchain that adds the
PT_PAX_FLAGS program header - i was under the impression that if
anything then hardened would have already put it to use already.

what's your binutils version?

well, as long as your toolchain (binutils/ld in particular) doesn't emit
PT_PAX_FLAGS you must use the EI_PAX marking and chpax (and enable support
for that in the kernel of course). in any case, 'chpax -m' on python
should have fixed the problem with psyco but you say it did not and i'd
like to see all the error messages/logs/etc.
