I'm preparing to setup Gentoo on Intel Xeon 5XXX CPU (quad core) with |

4Gig RAM DDR2 667 ECC and Intel series 3000 server motherboard. |

I wan't to do a 64 bit hardened installation. Main services to run on |

that machine are: |

- samba/nfs |

- apache |

- viedo streaming |
| 8 |

My problem is in lack of sufficent info. I did my time with hardened |

manual and descriptions, but thats it. |

It will be my first hardened setup, and first 64 bit setup so if You |

have any experience in those areas, or know something that I should know |
| 13 |
before I begin - let me know. |
