Both but mainly the latter. http://cvs.gentoo.org/~method makes |

the goals very clear, which is mainly to bring advanced security |

implementations to Gentoo. This includes patches in userland, |
| 12 |
new userland tools (gradm, selinux-small for example), kernel |
| 13 |
patches (hardened-gentoo), as well as extensive documentation |
| 14 |
and policies (where applicable). |
