15 The hardened project deals with augmentations to the generic Gentoo
16 distribution, as detailed on http://hardened.gentoo.org/. If you are
17 having trouble with a generic installation, you might be better off
18 starting here [http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/], specifically with the
19 Gentoo Installation Guides [http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/#doc_chap2].

21 Hardened should not result in KDE being required for DHCP to work, but
22 you haven't really given us more information, so I don't know what to
