[gentoo-hardened] change arch to generic "x86"

Hi All,

I am a newbie in Gentoo-Hardened Linux, Right now, I have Athlon XP 
2500+ gentoo-hardened with kernel compiled with AMD64 arch. I want to 
run the existing system in my new machine with cpu Intel, with my config 
now I can't boot it on my new machine, so I want to change the arch to 
x86 and then recompiled the kernel, my question is what configuration 
should I change to do it and should I remake the security policy that I 
already have?
