The solution to this (incase anyone else on the list is having the problem) |
2 |
is to unmerge python-selinux so that this error will not happen on the |
3 |
next emerge and then emerge the newest python-selinux which has this |
4 |
issue fixed. This will allow the labeling to work and the updated one doesn't |
5 |
bail out on non-fatal errors. |

When trying to emerge anything, for example, portage, I get errors like this: |
15 |
lgetfilecon() returned an error on /var/tmp/portage/portage-2.0.49-r15/image/usr/bin/xpak |
16 |
lgetfilecon didn't work: -1 |
17 |
dc = -1!!! failed to properly create symlink: |
18 |
!!! /usr/bin/xpak -> ../lib/portage/bin/xpak |
19 |
!!! |
20 |
!!! Failed to move file. |
21 |
!!! /usr/bin/xpak -> ../lib/portage/bin/xpak |

and the program never gets emerged. Now, I'm not sure if this has to do with the fact that I'm not enforcing right now, but if I unmerge libselinux, I can emerge stuff just fine, but this shouldn't be necessary, especially since portage complains that libselinux isn't there. |
