modification of the Stack Smashing Protection used in Gentoo Hardened. |

The name of the modification is "Stack Smashing XOR Protection" and it's |

dealing with the encoding of control data information inside stack |

frames of processes utilizing the PaX randomization and memory |
| 11 |
protection to prevent information leaking, modification of the protected |

data and possible return-pointer hijacking to initiate ret2libc attacks. |
