Hi all,

I've built a gentoo-dev-hardened2.6.7-r10 with pax enabled, but boot hangs with:
-
init: must be superuser
Kernel Panic Attempted To Kill Init
-
The pax related config options enabled are:
* Use legacy ELF header marking
* Use ELF program header marking
MAC sys integr (none)

Non-Executable pages is disabled!

* Address Space Layout Randomization
* Randomize kernel stack base
* Randomize user stack base
* randomiz mmap() base

The same kernel with pax disabled works just fine.

I have followed the pax-quickstart paper on the hardened.gentoo.org
site. but in the kernel config options, things are a bit different
with this kernel, so, wasn't capable of following _to the letter_...

glibc and gcc have been reemerged before this with USE=hardened

TIA
