1 For the last two weeks pappy@g.o has been working really hard on
2 my sparc64 to bring transparent etdyn/propolice into a reality. I'm
3 pleased to announce on his behalf that full Address Space Randomization
4 Layouts (ASLR) is now achievable thus giving sparc admins the tools to
5 prevent buffer/heap overflows and ret2libc style attacks on ~arch by
6 preforming the following commands.

8 # enable PaX/Grsecurity ASLR in your kernel then
9 emerge sync
10 emerge hardened-gcc ; # >=2.1.0
11 emerge clean

14 emerge -eu world
