1 I have the Gentoo Installer running on my Thinkpad Pentium M 735, and a
2 few things caught my eye. The 735 is a Pentium M
3 (http://intel.com/products/processor/pentiumm/index.htm), so I selected
4 Pentium-M as the architecture type on the gcc config tab. I was
5 wondering about the discrepancy.

7 TheCXXFLAGS value doesn't seem customizeable (CFLAGS is set to the
8 values I set). And further down is what is configured during the
9 Install's kernel config (MPENTIUM4 is chosen instead of MPENTIUMM):
