3 I recomend to install it over wire till you get working minimal
4 gentoo system. But it depends which wireless card you have and
5 what security (WPE, WPA, etc.) uses your AP-point. In worst case
6 your wireless works only with ndiswrapper, which isn't in any
7 Live-CD (or it is, but your card need newer version)...

9 Cards which are supported in kernel should work from LiveCD, but
10 even in this situation I prefer to install minimal system from
11 wire connection. Because you will config wifi only once.
