1 Problem Solved. Thanks everybody for your help

3 I had wrongly thought of it as an IRQ conflict. I was using Kernel modules
4 and it did not work. So instead i disabled kernel support and installed
5 alsa-driver and now it works fine with alsaconf detecting my card.
