1 Sorry , I should have gave a little more detail. On my model (the
2 M300CRV) the video BIOS is broken.
3 1024x768 is listed in the V_BIOS but X6.X will not see this
4 resolution. It only sees 800x600 and 640x480.
5 The video memory is 32MB so that is not an issue. I called Gateway many
6 times to ask if they could issue
7 a new BIOS to fix the problem and all I had to an answer is "we do
8 support Linux , it works properly in Windows"

10 They would not even tell me if there was an older version or a beta that
11 I could even try.

13 If anyone one has any ideas on how to get 1024x768 (no mode by this
14 name) I would be very thankful
