we've been lagging behind on Gambit updates for a while, because Gambit has a |

build system that is uncompatible with using a DESTDIR. Last weekend I spent |

some time to hack the build system to make this work anyway. It isn't pretty, |

but it works for now. You can get the results from our overlay, where it will |
| 10 |
probably remain. Only USE="-static" works. |
