20 Sounds to me that people experiencing these rsync 'opendir' errors are running
21 their local rsync server with a uid/gid different to the owner of the files in
22 releases/*/2006.1 directory. Since only the owner has read access, the rsync
23 daemon, which probably runs as nobody/nobody will not be able to read the
24 files. Once the group and other permissions change on
25 masterdistfiles.gentoo.org the problem should go away.
