I don't know what kind of volume that we would be talking about for this
stuff, but I looked at some pricing a while back and came up with the
following:

For data duplication, with 4-color (CYMK) printing on-disc, in a white
or black envelope (or bulk packaging without envelope):

101-250 CDs is $1.89ea
251-500 CDs is $1.59ea
501-750 CDs is $1.29ea
751+        is $0.99ea

For the same CD, in a jewel case with a single page (double-sided)
insert:

100-199 CDs is $2.69ea
200-399 CDs is $2.54ea
400-599 CDs is $2.39ea
600-799 CDs is $2.24ea
800-999 CDs is $2.09ea

Of course, this is just one company and only a sampling of their
offerings.  These are professionally-duplicated CDs, not burned CDs like
CafePress offers.  Remember that I am not suggesting something like this
to replace our store simply because it would mean we would need to do
all order processing ourselves, which isn't exactly a fun or glamorous
job and best left to people who specialize in this sort of thing.

I wouldn't mind seeing us buy some professionally-pressed CDs for trade
shows to give out in white envelopes, rather than burning them on-demand
on standard store CDs.

I'd love to see us get ~500 x86 and ~500 amd64 LiveCDs to have available
for different shows.
