| 3 | As the trademark is now official I believe that the logo guidelines etc. must |
| 4 | be revised to require that licensees (implicit or explicit) acknowledge the |
| 5 | trademark by a remark like "Gentoo is a trademark of the Gentoo foundation |
| 6 | inc.". From what I understood this is a requirement for proper trademark |
| 7 | protection. The trustees might want to check this with the lawyers though. |
