It's been a while since the first draft of the trademark license. The |

previous discussion can be found at the GMANE archives [1]. As you might |

still remember, we are in process of updating this license to accomodate to |
| 6 |
the frequently asked questions regarding the name and logo usage and update |
| 7 |
it so it is easier to understand. |

As part of the previous discussion, I also checked if Gentoo e.V. (who holds |
| 10 |
the trademark in Europe) would like to have a single, common license. As |
| 11 |
there was no feedback (and currently the mailing list site for gentoo-ev |
| 12 |
seems to be down so I can't confirm through its archives that I didn't miss |
| 13 |
an answer) I've updated the document to reflect that the license is for |
| 14 |
U.S.A. (and other countries using the U.S.A. trademark jurisdiction). |

I also added in the link to the trademark license as published by Gentoo |
| 17 |
e.V. [2] so that European people can easily find it. |
