The Foundation doesn't really own many of our servers. Almost all of |

them are "donated" to us in the sense of belonging to "Gentoo" (in the |
11 |
rather vague sense, not the proper legal Gentoo Foundation) or being |

available for Gentoo's use. We had a lot of servers before the |
13 |
Foundation, and they weren't all owned by Gentoo Technologies, Inc. In |
14 |
fact, I think only one or two were actually owned, the rest were loaned |
15 |
to us, indefinitely. That situation hasn't changed much, except for the |
16 |
few servers that we've purchased recently. Most of our hardware belongs |
17 |
to our sponsors, our developers, or various other companies whom have |
18 |
loaned us the equipment. |
