As a last-minute candidate, I accept.

I originally had no intention of running, but given the lack of
candidates on the slate, I'd like to throw more weight behind Antarus's
ideas of formally outsourcing the legal & financial business behind
running the Foundation, as a prerequisite of being able to cleaning shut
down or continue the Foundation as an entity.

If you don't believe that is an achievable goal, or disagree with that
direction, please rank reopen_nominations above me!

To the above end, Antarus asked about formal fund-raising initiatives.
I don't think Gentoo has ever undertaken full formal fund-raising,
because it was always seen as blocked by the legal/financial concerns.

I have personally tried to do some informal fund-raising in my role as
treasurer or infra lead, reaching out to potential sponsors (mostly on
the infra side), either by email or when at conferences. That is how the
Packet.net ARM64 access came about, and how some of our hardware has
been updated (like OpenGear's replacement console servers some years
ago). I have some emails out for infra 10GBit switchgear as a result of
the recent OpenStack conference, as the vendors asked me to get back to
them in July, so I'll see what might happen there.
