I've noticed recently that there are 3 different backups of make.conf in |
5 |
/etc on my computer. Multiple tools already create these backups, and |
6 |
there will certainly be other such tools in the future (mirrorselect and |
7 |
euse come to mind). I'd like to establish a sort of standard for this |
8 |
behavior, because only one backup is really necessary, so there is no |
9 |
reason to fill up /etc with a bunch of make.conf.whatever files. |

|
11 |
Me and genone came up with make.conf.backup. Unless there are any |
12 |
objections or better ideas, consider yourself informed of the new standard. |
