Zac Medico has graciously done a pre5 release of the 2.1 tree and placed |

it in his dev space and on the mirrors. The ebuild is not currently in |

the portage tree, but please feel free to test it prior to it's actual |

release. The intent here is to hopefully catch any show stopping bug |
| 5 |
prior to it's 'actual' release. |

It is my estimation that a lot more users are running ~arch portage due |

to cache issues as well as added features ( confcache, parallel-fetch, |
| 9 |
etc ). |

The ebuild is at [1]. |

The tarball should be on the distfiles shortly, but if not the ebuild |

will fetch from Zac's devspace. |
