Hello,

I'm in the process of installing Gentoo 1.4_rc3 on a beige G3 tower. I
have both started at stage 1 and tried G3 stage 2. Both methods run
into the following problem.

I get to the point of running `emerge system'. Everything compiles fine
until hfsplusutils-1.0.4. The following output is produced
(hfsplusutils is 1 of 55 because I've run emerge system a few times to
see if the error always occurs). I've also tried unmerging/re-merging
autoconf, but no change. Any ideas?

>>> emerge (1 of 55) sys-apps/hfsplusutils-1.0.4 to /
>>> md5 ;-) hfsplus_1.0.4.src.tar.bz2
>>> Unpacking source...
>>> Unpacking hfsplus_1.0.4.src.tar.bz2
>>> Source unpacked.
aclocal
autoconf
/usr/bin/autoconf-2.13: line 125: 20480 Segmentation fault $M4
-I$AC_MACRODIR $use_localdir $r autoconf.m4$f $infile >$tmpout
make: *** [all] Error 2

!!! ERROR: sys-apps/hfsplusutils-1.0.4 failed.
!!! Function src_compile, Line 2, Exitcode 2
!!! (no error message)

Thanks,
